Takk House. Where to start? First off by saying how beautifully unique it is. It has a huge personality and can be transformed into just about anything — and you have to check it out.
My bride-to-be friend tipped me off on their awesome curated wedding showcase, Knotted Event. It’s a bridal show for the ‘alternative and indie couples’ so don’t come looking for hot pink, glitter and cliches. Once I heard that, I was in.
I’ve been on a blush and gold kick so naturally, that was my inspiration. I went with Sahara Roses, baby’s breath and fern on a plain white table cloth and threw in some faux fur to break things up a bit. I added some sweets and rosé to my table for fun (and also, who doesn’t like a little booze and chocolate?)
Besides some florists, planners, photogs, and an awesome airstream mobile photo booth, there were some great local eats there like Hudson Valley BBQ Co. and Slidin’ Dirty. Most of the crew who came out could be found hitting up vendor tables with custom Knotted coozies to keep their craft beer cool. Talk about a pretty laid back wedding showcase, right?
